Amman, (Petra) -- Minister
of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman
Safadi, and British
Minister of State for the Middle East
and North Africa, Alistair Burt, discussed
ways to develop Jordanian-British relations
and increasing coordination and cooperation
between the two countries.
Both ministers reviewed
regional developments, especially those
related to the peace process and the Syrian
crisis and stressed the need to intensify
efforts aimed at finding political solutions
to the crises of the region.
The talks dealt with the
Syrian refugees and burdens Borne by Jordan
due to hosting about 1.3 million Syrian
Burt expressed his country's
appreciation for Jordan's role in helping
Syrian refugees and providing them with
a decent life.
